This weekend was amazing! Quick, fun, loud, sugar filled, action packed full of all my favorite bloggers, brands and loads of Texas hospitality. I had the pleasure of attending the Family Travel Conference in Dallas Texas with many of my favorite bloggers. Learned lot’s, ate a ton and took a bunch of pictures. Here’s just a few of my favorite highlights I learned about while in Dallas, TX that can help you get around downtown Dallas on your next trip you have planned:

Frugal Travel Transportation tips while In Dallas, TX:

  1. Plan, plan plan. Plan for taxis, train buses. The Dart system is great for taking in all the sights Dallas, TX has to offer. Starting December 1, 2012 Dart will be celebrating 10 days of DART. 10 of the best places to see while visiting Dallas. Grab a DART system day pass for $7.00 and you’ll be able to use the Trains, buses and flex service including DART on-call.
  2. E-frogs. Have you heard of them. Those cute little cars that are open air. Guess what? E-Frogs provide free short trips within the Downtown area. Can’t get better than that.
  3. Art Carts are FREE within the Arts District and fun to ride. Quick, convenient and perfect for a lunch or dinner engagement that doesn’t require fuss. Just plan, plan and then plan your next travel trip to Dallas, TX

I’m linking to my favorite weekly post called Live A Little on Skimbaco. The topic this week is taking photos…perfect for my instaweekend!

  • Did you go to Scarborough Faire? I’ve been wanting to take the kids to that!

    • No but that does sounds like fun. Texas is full of fun stuff to do. Looking forward to another visit and maybe make it up to Wolfe Creek Lodge!

  • A lot of my Denver blogging friends were in Dallas for this conference also! Looks like it was a terrific event. I learned Dallas has some lighting similar to Vegas. I’ve never been.

    • Hi RaJean, we do have some similarities so I felt right at home. I couldn’t help but picture Dallas as I saw it with JR (I totally dated myself) definately has changed 🙂 thanks for stopping by.

  • Whenever I’m in need of some travel tips and where to go, I have the place to go now. Thank you for linking up to the Empowered Living Blog hop, hope to see you again.

    • Ahh, thanks Jesse!
