If you are visiting Las Vegas and are looking for things to do on the strip with your family here are some ideas.

  • Adventuredome – Roller Coaster rides that are indoor for even small children.
  • Shark Reef – Located inside Mandalay Bay, take your family on a narrative tour of an indoor shark habitat.
  • Nascar riding experience – for 16 years and older. {slightly off the strip but not far}
  • Las Vegas Monorail – This is a great way to see the Vegas strip and kids love it!
  • Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
  • There are tons more, make sure to check out  The Visitors Guide and you can also download.


  • Click here for and save a ton on your dining out while visiting our city.  You can use these certificates all across the country.


  • Famous Las Vegas Sign – located at the south End of Strip  near Mandalay Bay Casino. Open daily 24 hours except when events are in town.
  • Free Fountains Shows at Bellagio. They run every 30 minutes and every 15 minutes of Sat and Sunday.
  • Bellagio Chocolate Fountain – 27 feet tall and great for pictures.  Open Daily: 7a – 11p
  • FREE Monorail between casinos. This is different than the monorail system. You can read more here for the Tram. The run between these three areas:  The Bellagio Hotel to City Center to Monte Carlo Hotel tram
  •  Mirage Hotel to Treasure Island Hotel tram runs every 10 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Sunday thru Thursday; until 3 a.m. Friday & Saturday) in the Center Strip
  • Excalibur Hotel to Luxor Hotel to Mandalay Bay Hotel tram runs in the South part of the strip every 5 minutes and operates Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Weekends 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Friday to Sunday
  • Hawaiian Marketplace on the Strip situated one block north of MGM – They have the Animatronic bird shows, Hawaiian dancers, Viva Vision.  This runs
    Daily but  Friday through Tuesday 1p – 9p
  • Fremont Street Experience Light Show & Neon Tour – Fremont Street Downtown Las Vegas or what us locals like to call the “Old Strip”  is open daily every hour starting at dusk
  • Sugar Factory – located inside the Mirage Casino and one you don’t want to miss.

Rio Casino – Masquerade Show in the Sky runs Monday through Sunday: 3p, 4p, 5p, 6:30p, 7:30p, 8:30p, 9:30p
