~Some Follow-ups

image Since it’s a Holiday weekend I thought I would write a post on some items I’ve been meaning to follow-up on.

  • Question asked to readers: Post Menu plan or not?
  • Answer: I didn’t get the response that I thought would match the subscribers, so I thought I would just table this item until such request is in mass numbers. You still might see a post here or there for menu’s because I love food. Love to eat it…and like to make most.
  • Old Navy – WOW! Let me just say that first. They truly have the power. I was not in need of flip flops so my intention today was not to go to Old Navy. However, I needed to make a return on an item so we went. Firstly, it was packed. The type of packed that you need to shimmy down isle ways. There were NO flip flops. The cashier told us they were sold out within the first 2 hours of opening. That’s crazy!! I will have to share my other great $1 store with you all so you will know where to get $1 flip flops all year long.
  • Off Clip on Bug repellent – have you seen how big that thing is? WHOA!! That will be sitting on the table and not on my person. Great deal but HUGE. I still got it because of the register rewards that purchased my hubby’s deodorant. Not sure if I would have purchased it otherwise though.
  • Whole Foods – I spoke on this a few weeks ago. My hubby found some coupons outside the store and I’ve just been waiting to use them. Finally got the chance and was told by the manager she wasn’t sure if they took manufacture & store coupons together. Well…they do!! I was able to get our Kashi cereal (2) boxes for $3. That’s good in my book for Kashi. I love Whole Foods. It is a bit more expensive. But with careful planning and a good menu plan I think a reasonable shopping list can be put together.
  • Marcal Paper Goods – I can not find these anywhere. Driving me crazy. At first their website said they were sold in Nevada but have since taken it off. I have all these FREE paper towel coupons (value up to $1) and no place to use them. So, I hate to see free stuff go to waste. They will expire on the 31st. If your store has them and you would like my coupons please e-mail and let me know. We can set up shipping through PayPal.

That’s it everyone. Go and enjoy your holiday with your friends & family!….Pssstt…..also I’m typing this really late at night (or early in the am) so I apologize now for any fragmented sentences 😉 or spelling errors….tata
